Las Vegas is certainly not for the faint-hearted but it is chocked-full of awesome sights and sounds that are too good to be missed. It is one of America’s most visited cities and it is easy to see why when you consider just how visually impressive a city it is. It is a year round destination and there will always be plenty of things to see and do when visiting Sin City so narrowing it down to three things is never easy. But lets take a look at 3 sights that are a must for any first time visitors to Las Vegas:

Bellagio Fountains:

For any fans of Ocean’s 11 (and 12 and 13 for that matter) one of the must see sights that Las Vegas has to offer is definitely that of the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel. It is an incredibly impressive sight and whilst it is scheduled to go off every half hour or so, it is certainly one of those sights that you can’t really tire of seeing and that’s why it has made itself onto our list of Vegas must see sights.

Tour of the Grand Canyon:

Whilst the Grand Canyon isn’t tecnically (or untechnically) in Las Vegas, it is certainly close enough to go and pay a visit and it is sight that is too impressive to properly put into words – it really is one of those things that you have to see for yourself. One of the most visually impressive and awe-inspiring sights in the world, you’ll never forget your visit to the Grand Canyon and chances are you’ll set your camera on fire with the number of photos that you’ll be snapping away. You’ll probably want to stay overnight nearby as it’s about a 5 hour drive from Las Vegas but the local town of Flagstaff has plenty of hotels and hostels for the weary traveller.

Private Bowling Alley:

Las Vegas is all about luxury and decadence and if you really feel like pushing the boat out on your trip to Sin City, you really should be booking yourself a suite. For anyone who is a fan of bowling, the perfect suite for you will be the impressive Kingpin Suite at the Palms Hotel. You will be able to dust off your favourite bowling shirts in this awesome luxury suite which not only has a full-sized two lane bowling alley but also boasts two bedrooms, three bathrooms, pool table and fully stocked bar. Basically everything you need for a fantastic first stay in Las Vegas!
